Micki Frazier

Hello and welcome!  I am the owner and director of MKF Counseling.  I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and practicing therapist.  I received my Bachelor of Arts from Boston University and my Master of Social Work from Simmons College.  I have been in practice since 2003.  
I specialize in working with adults and young adults dealing with depression and anxiety.  I also have a special interest in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, especially in combat veterans.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at MKF Counseling.  I received my Bachelor of Arts from Miami University and my Master of Social Work from Rutgers University.  I have worked as a psychotherapist in group private practices, as well as in non-profit counseling centers.
My areas of specialization include working with adults, children and families who have survived trauma.  I work extensively with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, bereavement, parenting, job loss and other life changes.
Dorothy Coffey

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at MKF Counseling. I earned my undergraduate degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and my Master's degree from Rutgers University. My experience in the healthcare/medical field allows me to support my clients in finding their strengths to cope with a medical diagnosis, terminal illness, grief related to loss and the stress associated with these and other life adjustments. I have worked extensively with the geriatric population, adults, and young adults experiencing depression, anxiety and relationship issues.
Margaret Huettenmoser

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at MKF Counseling. I earned my undergraduate dual degree from Rutgers UMDNJ in Psychology/Psychosocial Rehabilitation and a Master of Social Work from Kean University.  My work experience in various healthcare settings, and work with extensive populations, affords me an opportunity to support clients as they work towards growth and healing. 
I have experience working with clients through the effects of trauma, addiction, depression, grief and loss, and anxiety.  Using a holistic approach, I help clients to implement strategies of therapy to deepen relationships, and heal mind, body and spirit toward a positive sense of self, incorporating mindfulness, CBT, psychoeducation, and various other approaches to fit the client's need.  I believe the most painful story is the one that has not been told.
Sarah DeVries

​I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at MKF Counseling. I received my Bachelor of Arts from The College of New Jersey, and my Master of Social Work with a specialization in addiction from Rutgers University. I started my career as a therapist working in an acute psychiatric PHP/IOP setting, where I worked mainly in addiction and Men & Women’s trauma programming. Prior to becoming a social worker, I worked in pharmaceutical communications. My knowledge and experience include working with young adults and adults with substance use and conditions such as ADHD and anxiety. Much of my work has focused on grief and loss, familial conflict, and childhood emotional neglect. I also have expertise working with first responders and veterans and PTSD/complex trauma. My style is authentic and compassionate, and I tailor evidence-based treatment to decrease a client’s stressors and increase their quality of life.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at MKF Counseling. I received my Bachelor of Science and Master of Social Work from Rutgers University.  I have practiced for the last ten years in non-profit settings working with families, couples, adults, adolescents, and children. 
I practice from a strength based perspective and utilize a variety of therapeutic strategies and techniques tailored to each client's needs.  I have specialized experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing complications related to anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, relationships, bereavement and loss. 
Debra Brodsky

Counseling with over 15 years of experience providing therapy to adults and seniors. I have
extensive knowledge in healthcare from many years working with varied age groups in the
hospital setting. I received a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University and a Master of Social
Work from Fordham University.
I specialize in generalized anxiety, illness anxiety, depression, chronic illness, grief and loss, life
transitions, and difficulty coping with the aging process.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as The Strengths Based Perspective. My approach is one
of comfort, reassurance, and regular interaction.

I received my Bachelor of Arts from William Paterson University and my Master of Social Work from Rutgers University with a specialization in Children and Families. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults, focusing on domestic abuse and sexual violence. I have extensive experience working with issues ranging from anxiety to trauma, PTSD, relationships, grief, self-esteem and coping with everyday stress.

I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) at MKF Counseling. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bloomfield College. I continued my education at Rutgers University, where I earned my Master of Social Work, specializing in the clinical field. I have experience working with families, with a focus on children, specifically when dealing with trauma and various stressors that affect the family unit. My ability to utilize a strength-based approach allows one's strengths to aid in recovery and empowerment.

I have worked in a variety of mental health settings for over a decade with people of different backgrounds and ages, including non-profits, county mental health facilities, vocational rehabilitation programs and community support services.  As an outpatient therapist, I specialize in a comprehensive strengths based approach, relapse prevention, mindfulness, developmental disabilities and depression support.

I am Licensed Social Worker (LSW) at MKF Counseling.  I received both my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Social Work from Rutgers University.  I have worked within school, outpatient, and non-profit settings and have experience working with individuals confronting challenges related to developmental disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse and LGBTQIA+ issues.  I have extensive experience working with children and families on an array of issues, including family trauma, parenting difficulties and parental stress.  I provide a safe, accepting, and open environment for clients and value a collaborative relationship.

I have extensive experience working within hospital, outpatient, non-profit and legal settings with individuals and families experiencing chronic illnesses, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, developmental disorders, relationship conflicts and stress.  I utilize a focused cognitive behavioral therapeutic approach and strength-based perspective with an empathetic mindset to build a connection with my clients and collaborate together to reach their goals.
