Hello and welcome!  I am the owner and director of MKF Counseling.  I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and practicing therapist.  I received my Bachelor of Arts from Boston University and my Master of Social Work from Simmons College.  I have been in practice since 2003.  
I specialize in working with adults and young adults dealing with depression and anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  I've worked extensively with clients experiencing both acute and complex PTSD through my experience working in correction facilities and with youths growing up with gang violence, as well as working with combat veterans.

​I am the Assistant Director at MKF Counseling.  I have over 20 years of experience working in the healthcare field in various roles such as billing, credentialing, administrative assistant and office manager.
Think of me as you concierge and liaison while you are with us.  I will be the first person you speak with when you contact us.  I will walk you through the process, contact your insurance, and connect you with the right therapist for your needs.

​I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at MKF Counseling. I received my Bachelor of Arts from The College of New Jersey, and my Master of Social Work with a specialization in addiction from Rutgers University. I started my career as a therapist working in an acute psychiatric PHP/IOP setting, where I worked mainly in addiction and Men & Women’s trauma programming. Prior to becoming a social worker, I worked in pharmaceutical communications. My knowledge and experience include working with young adults and adults with substance use and conditions such as ADHD and anxiety. Much of my work has focused on grief and loss, familial conflict, and childhood emotional neglect. I also have expertise working with first responders and veterans and PTSD/complex trauma. My style is authentic and compassionate, and I tailor evidence-based treatment to decrease a client’s stressors and increase their quality of life.
Nancy Baldwin, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at MKF Counseling.  I received my Bachelor of Arts from Miami University and my Master of Social Work from Rutgers University.  I have worked as a psychotherapist in group private practices, as well as in non-profit counseling centers.
My areas of specialization include working with adults, children and families who have survived trauma.  I work extensively with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, bereavement, parenting, job loss and other life changes.
James Bencivenga, LPC, LCADC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) at MKF Counseling.  I received my Bachelor of Criminal Justice at Kutztown University and my Master of Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College.  
I have been in practice for ten years and have worked in numerous therapeutic settings.  I've worked with clients of all ages and specialize in treating adults and teens who struggle with anxiety, depression, life transitions, codependency and boundary setting, conflict resolution, family and relationship issues, self-esteem, OCD, addiction, and trauma.  I aim to create a non-judgmental, collaborative environment to build on the strengths clients already have to they can become a better version of themselves while honoring their values and personal goals.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at MKF Counseling. I received my Bachelor of Science and Master of Social Work from Rutgers University.  I have practiced for the last ten years in non-profit settings working with families, couples, adults, adolescents, and children. 
I practice from a strength based perspective and utilize a variety of therapeutic strategies and techniques tailored to each client's needs.  I have specialized experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing complications related to anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, relationships, bereavement and loss. 
Christy Booze, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at MKF Counseling.  I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Rutgers University and my Master of Social Work from Monmouth University.
I started my career in a residential facility for adolescents with behavioral issues, and eventually branched out to day programs and intensive in-home therapy.
I have had the opportunity to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds experiencing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, familial conflict, parenting difficulties, grief and loss, trauma and substance abuse.  I have also worked with people who seek to simply gain knowledge of coping skills and ways to experience life to the best of their abilities.

I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) at MKF Counseling. I received my Bachelor of Arts from William Paterson University and my Master of Social Work from Rutgers University with a specialization in Children and Families. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults, focusing on domestic abuse and sexual violence. I have extensive experience working with issues ranging from anxiety to trauma, PTSD, relationships, grief, self-esteem and coping with everyday stress.

I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) at MKF Counseling. I received my Bachelor of Arts, specializing in Psychology, from Bloomfield College. I continued my education at Rutgers University where I earned my Master’s in Social Work, specializing in the clinical field. I have experience working with families, with my focus on children, specifically when dealing with trauma and various stressors that affect the family unit. My ability to utilize a strength- based approach allows one’s individual strengths to aid in recovery and empowerment.

I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) at MKF Counseling. I received my Bachelor of Psychology from UNC Charlotte and my Master of Social Work from Rutgers University.  I have experience working with people with addiction, mood disorders, and those experiencing life stressors/transitions. I have been a part of a DBT adherent program and will incorporate DBT skills and mindfulness into your sessions, along with CBT, motivational interviewing, and strengths based perspective. I take a client centered approach, providing a safe nonjudgmental space, supporting you on your journey.

I have worked in a variety of mental health settings for over a decade with people of different backgrounds and ages, including non-profits, county mental health facilities, vocational rehabilitation programs and community support services.  As an outpatient therapist, I specialize in a comprehensive strengths based approach, relapse prevention, mindfulness, developmental disabilities and depression support.

I am Licensed Social Worker (LSW) at MKF Counseling.  I received both my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Social Work from Rutgers University.  I have worked within school, outpatient, and non-profit settings and have experience working with individuals confronting challenges related to developmental disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse and LGBTQIA+ issues.  I have extensive experience working with children and families on an array of issues, including family trauma, parenting difficulties and parental stress.  I provide a safe, accepting, and open environment for clients and value a collaborative relationship.

I have extensive experience working within hospital, outpatient, non-profit and legal settings with individuals and families experiencing chronic illnesses, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, developmental disorders, relationship conflicts and stress.  I utilize a focused cognitive behavioral therapeutic approach and strength-based perspective with an empathetic mindset to build a connection with my clients and collaborate together to reach their goals.

 I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) at MKF Counseling. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Scranton and my Master of Social Work from Rutgers University.  I am also a certified School Social Worker.
I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults who are faced with developmental disorders, learning abilities, and behavioral challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, as well as Mood and Anxiety Disorders.  I have an integrative approach when working with clients in order to best support their needs and achieve their goals.
