I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) at MKF Counseling. I earned my undergraduate degree at Stockton State College and was awarded placement in the Master of Social Work, Children and Family track with advanced standing at Monmouth University. With over 20 years in the field, I provide a compassionate and eclectic approach when working with individuals, couples, and families.
I specialize in trauma work, Male and Female Factor infertility, Anti- and Post- Partum Depression, Anxiety, Birth Trauma, as well as Grief and Loss. I also work specialize in school-based issues, adolescent behavioral and parent-child relationship issues, mood and thought disorders, coupes and family conflict. I utilize varying approaches to therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, as well as EMDR, motivational and strengths-based perspective. I aim to teach my clients that through life's challenges, a new journey emerges. And that while vulnerability and change can be scary, it is through courage that one can realize theiir inner strength, enabling them to take back their power and control.
