As fall settles in, nature reminds us that change is both inevitable and essential. The vibrant leaves that color our days eventually release and fall away, making room for new growth to come. This gentle rhythm of transformation offers a powerful lesson—not just for individuals, but for organizations and communities as well.
At MKF Counseling, the past year has brought its own season of change. We’ve experienced shifts within our team—some therapists have pursued exciting new opportunities, started families, or relocated to other states. Others have followed their dreams of opening their own practices. Each departure has been bittersweet, marking both an ending and a new beginning.
At the same time, we’ve welcomed new therapists who have brought fresh perspectives, diverse experiences, and renewed energy to our MKF family. Each new face has supported our transformation and renewal, strengthening the foundation of who we are and the care we provide.
While transitions like these can feel uncertain in the moment, they also invite reflection and trust. Just as the trees must let go of their leaves to prepare for spring, we too must sometimes release what was in order to make space for what’s next. Change can be uncomfortable—but it’s also where growth happens.
At MKF, we’ve learned that by trusting the process, we can move through transition with resilience and purpose. Our mission remains steadfast: to provide compassionate, quality care and to support every client—and team member—on their journey toward wellness.
As the seasons turn, we invite you to reflect on your own cycles of change.
What are you ready to release? And what new growth are you preparing for?
