Douglas Pritchard, LSW

I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) at MKF Counseling.  I received both my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Social Work from Rutgers University.  I am passionate about supporting individuals on their paths to healing and growth.  My clinical experience includes providing both individual and group psychotherapy to diverse populations, with a focus on concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, identity exploration, and self esteem.  During my time at Rutgers CAPS and the Joeph Kohn Training Center, I had the opportunity to deliver therapy, lead psychoeducational groups and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, person-centered care.
At the core of my work is a deep commitment to fostering respectful, affirming relationships with people of all races, genders, and identities.  I strive to create a therapeutic space that is safe, inclusive and grounded in empathy, and cultural humility.  I believe in the resilience and innate capacity for healing that exists within each person, and I work to empower my clients by honoring their experiences, strengths, and goals.  Whether you are navigating a specific challenge or seeking greater self-understanding, I am here to support you with compassion, authenticity, and care.
